TLC Products, Inc. (TLC) is a New Jersey based company. It plans to manufacture the patented Graphene-enhanced Plastic Matrix Composite (G-PMC).
Charles Chang founded Topline Products Co., Inc. in 1975. He grew Topline Products Co., Inc. into a $100 million global company with headquarters in New Jersey, and facilities in six different countries including China, France, Brazil, Taiwan, Mexico, and the United States.
Mr. Chang pioneered cosmetic containers from Asia to the U.S. market in the 1980s. His innovative efforts led him to obtain more than 30 patents globally and propelled the company to become a major player. Under his leadership, Topline Products Co., Inc. grew at 30 percent annually, compounding rates from 2002 to 2009. The company was recognized as one of the Top 50 Fast Growing Companies in New Jersey by NJBIZ from 2004 – 2009 and Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in US by Pan Asian-American Chamber of Commerce (USPAAC) in 2008 and 2009. It also was a Top 20 Minority Owned Companies in New Jersey from 2005 – 2016.
Mr. Chang was inducted into the Packaging Hall of Fame in 2007 and received a Life Time Achievement Award in 2016 by the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club. He received distinguished Asian Business Leadership awards in 2009 from the USPAAC and Wells Fargo. In 2014, he was honored as a recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, and also received the Dean's Service Award from the School of Engineering at Rutgers University. In 2016, Mr. Chang sold Topline Products Co., Inc. and in 2017, he founded TLC Products. He serves on the Board of Overseers at the Rutgers Foundation and is active in various civic non-profit organizations. He also holds 3 master's degrees including MS in chemical engineering from University of Mississippi, MS in packaging engineering from Rutgers University, and MBA in industrial management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, as well as an APC in Marketing from NYU.
